CONE BEAM C.T. SCAN
Our facility is one of the first centers who invested in CONE BEAM CT Scan, the highest level of 3-D radiography & latest software technology available for accurate Diagnosis, Treatment planning, and detection of pathologies.
This new technology, along with our other state of the art & advanced computer softwares (such as "Simplant PRO", and " C.T. & Computer Guided Surgical Stent") enables us to provide the most accurate, safest and minimally invasive treatments for our surgical patients, with MUCH LESS X-ray exposure level.

Cone Beam CT (CBCT) & 3-D Imaging
State-of-the-art Dental Imaging !
Our office offers the latest advances in 3-D Radiographic Imaging utilizing I-Cat Cone Beam Dental Imaging System. The I-CAT provides in-office, high definition, three-dimensional digital data with much less radiation than traditional CT scan machines. Its volumetric imaging system provides precise views of the anatomy of the mouth, face, and jaw areas by producing three-dimensional views of all oral and maxillofacial structures, which leads to the most accurate treatment planning and predictable outcomes for surgical procedures.
The machines’ high resolution provides views of critical anatomy and vital structures, such as nerve canals, sinus walls, and cortical borders for more thorough analysis of bone structure and tooth orientation. This imaging helps optimize implant treatment, placement, and selection of the most suitable implant prior to surgery.
The I-Cat can also measure bone and jaw deformities, assess bone lesions and changes of the jaw, and detect other pathologies, such as cysts, tumors, and variety of Oral & Maxillofacial diseases.

IMPLANT PLANNING SOFTWARE &
COMPUTER GUIDED SURGERY
Cone Beam Scan data can be combined with implant planning software to pre-plan implant surgeries with greater precision than ever before.
Implant planning software allows for interactive 3D Planning for ideal positioning of dental implants, while taking into account both clinical and esthetical considerations. Computer guided surgery is a revolutionary treatment planning and surgical implementation system enabling the transfer of extraoral planning into the mouth with accuracy and ease, detailing the exact position and depth of the implants before surgery.
The dentist and the implant surgeon will work closely to place implants of various sizes on the implant planning software precisely in the preplanned desired locations. The information is e-mailed to a special dental laboratory that will fabricate implant placement guides. These guides will be utilized to place the implants in the preplanned desired position at the time of surgery. Computer generated guides provide a link between the planning and the actual surgery by transferring the simulated plan accurately to surgery.
